Snapbytes was founded in Istanbul by Tuncay Şentürk as a software development company and consultancy firm, focused on DevOps and the Atlassian Ecosystem. As a self-funded company, our team quickly grew taking on DevOps transformation projects in the finance and telecom sectors.

Our first DevOps project started at Bankalararası Kart Merkezi. Its first milestone was becoming a #BankingTechAwards finalist for Best Use of Emerging Technology in November 2017!

A new product, TestB4, was born during our early DevOps projects. It has been used by QA teams at Netaş Test Solutions since January 2018. Around 100 Netaş QA engineers currently use TestB4 for automating regression and new feature tests in agile environments.

Our connections with universities and the science community within Turkey has led to three R&D projects. These projects have been funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and two of them have been completed so far. We also started a “Modern Software Development Process and DevOps” course at Sakarya University in September 2018.

In October 2018, we expanded geographically to start our UK branch in Cambridge. Whilst continuing to develop Snapbytes Plugins for Atlassian Jira, we also became an Atlassian Solution Partner and currently have Platinum Partner status.
